Former President Yoon Seok-yeol had a meal with lawyers Bae Ui-cheol and Kim Gye-ri ahead of the second trial for the rebellion chief charge.
Lawyer Kim posted a photo on Facebook taken on the 19th, showing him with former President Yoon and Lawyer Bae sitting together in front of a table filled with food.
Lawyer Kim wrote, "My first president elected by my own hand. Yoon-beoji (Yoon Seok-yeol's father)."
Lawyers Kim and Bae recently announced the founding of the "Yoon Again" party, but later put the announcement on hold. Lawyer Bae explained the reason for postponing the founding, saying, "There was tremendous pressure from the People Power Party, and there has been too much misunderstanding and speculation surrounding the (founding announcement), which could become a burden for former President Yoon. Therefore, I will hold off on the press conference as per the former President's words."
Meanwhile, former President Yoon is preparing for the second trial date for the rebellion chief charge, which is set to take place at 10 a.m. on the 21st. Unlike the first trial, the court has approved the filming of former President Yoon's criminal trial during the second trial.
