A recent opinion poll showed that Acting President Han Duck-soo ranked first with 29.6% in the suitability of the conservative candidate.
According to a survey commissioned by JoWon C&I conducted nationwide between 13th and 14th, among 1,023 people ages 18 and over who agreed with the 'election of a conservative candidate', Acting President Han Duck-soo led with 29.6%. Following him were former Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo with 21.5%, former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon with 14.1%, former Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo with 10.9%, and People Power Party Representative Na Kyung-won with 7.0%.
Supporters of the People Power Party responded with 31.9% for Acting President Han, 22.8% for former Minister Kim, 15.0% for former leader Han, 11.9% for former Mayor Hong, and 7.4% for Representative Na.
In the survey, former Democratic Party of Korea leader Lee Jae-myung recorded over 52% when facing any conservative candidate, showing a significant advantage. In a three-way match against former Acting President Han and Reform Party Representative Lee Jun-seok, the results were 52.3%, 26.2%, and 5.4%, respectively.
The three-way battle against former leader Lee, former Minister Kim, and Representative Lee recorded 52.7%, 20.0%, and 5.9%, respectively. In a matchup between former leader Lee, former leader Han, and Representative Lee, the scores were 52.6%, 15.2%, and 6.1%, respectively.
This survey was conducted using the ARS polling method (100% mobile phone RDD). The margin of error is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and the response rate is 4.6%. For more details, please refer to the Central Election Survey Deliberation Commission website.
