Former Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo will unveil his presidential pledge, focusing on investment activation and regulatory innovation, titled 'A good country for corporations' on the 17th.
A representative from Kim's campaign camp, 'Victory Camp,' said on the 15th, “We plan to announce the pledge titled 'A good country for corporations' this Thursday (17th),” adding that it will include plans to create youth jobs through corporate investment activation.
Previously, former Minister Kim stated in his announcement of candidacy, “I will lead the economy of the Republic of Korea to a new leap through bold innovation and reform in capital, labor, and technology.”
The pledge is expected to include ▲expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and increased investment to enter the G3 countries in the AI era, bold investments in ventures and startups, ▲financial regulatory innovation, and ▲attracting advanced industries to the regions.
Ahead of the policy pledge announcement, former Minister Kim is scheduled to visit the Korea Employers Federation in the afternoon to listen to the difficulties faced by corporations and receive their suggestions.
