Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, said on the 14th regarding the continued call for Prime Minister Han Duck-soo to be taken out from acting president, "I wonder how frustrating it must be to draw out even the acting president," and noted, "For now, there seems to be a lot for the acting president to do."
On the morning of that day, Na, who declared her candidacy for the 21st presidential election, responded to a question about whether Han would run during YTN Radio's News Fighting.
Na said, "Isn't it a significant trade crisis now? Even American commentators are saying that it's hard to predict how President Trump's tariff policy will change, saying, 'It's difficult to comment, it's unpredictable,'" and pointed out, "The acting president should focus on resolving this issue, but aren't we shaking him too much?"
She continued, "We're pressuring him to run as a candidate while the opposition party is shaking the acting president with impeachment, so can the country do well? I'm very worried."
Regarding the so-called 'hamburger meeting' held with former Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo, she remarked, "The talk of Prime Minister Han keeps coming up, making it feel like the importance of the primary is diminishing, doesn't it?" and expressed, "There are candidates I absolutely cannot work with, but if there's a good opportunity to work with other candidates, I'll consider it."
On the possibility of a 'big tent against Lee Jae-myung' including lawmakers like Lee Jun-seok from the Reformist Party, she said, "We should probably talk with the anti-Lee faction. It's a time for truly diverse considerations."
When asked, "Do you think we should explore the possibility of an alliance with the Democratic Party's dissenting faction?" she replied, "Politics can imagine a variety of scenarios. We must always imagine and prepare for what path is right for the Republic of Korea depending on the changing political situation."
