The four candidates for the People Power Party presidential election, determined by 100% public opinion polls, will engage in one-on-one "match" debates. This concept is borrowed from the entertainment program "Freedom Declaration: The Fist Cries", which aired in 2005.

The People Power Party's election management committee announced on the 11th that it set the schedule and concept for this primary, which will occur up to three times.

Lee Yang-soo, the secretary general of the People Power Party and vice chair of the election management committee, met with reporters and noted, "We thought about the debate format to highlight the strengths of the four candidates by incorporating appropriate entertainment elements."

The debate will be conducted by each candidate directly naming their opponent. One candidate will call out, "Hey, you, come out!" to designate a specific candidate before engaging in the debate.

In this process, there may be instances where specific candidates receive the most nominations, or a candidate who is named will nominate the other candidate again in a rematch scenario.

The general said, "Who the candidates choose to name will be a key point of observation."

The media day for the first primary, which will narrow down the four candidates, is also expected to include a significant amount of entertainment elements. The plan is to capture interest by showcasing the process of narrowing down the final candidates among those expected to exceed 10.

The general stated, "The first primary debate will take place over three days from the 18th to the 20th, divided into three groups: A, B, and C. Instead of drawing lots for group assignments, we will arrange seating based on topics, allowing participants to sit in order of arrival for their preferred topic; this will create a kind of 'game of perception' where a so-called 'death group' with multiple strong candidates may emerge."

Each candidate will be tested on their quick thinking and logic through self-introductions based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and immediate responses to negative comments selected by artificial intelligence (AI). The candidate who comes closest to finishing their candidacy statement within one minute will receive preferential treatment during the debate.

The final two candidates, selected through the second primary, will participate in a bilateral debate on the 30th with audience participation. The audience will be able to directly ask questions regarding each candidate's policies and pledges, and devices will be provided to allow real-time monitoring of changes in heart rate and other signs of tension.

The general emphasized, "The People Power Party will highlight a democratic communication image by selecting a presidential candidate through a primary that is made by the 20s youth and runs together with the people, under the slogan of 'a primary made by the youth in their 20s.'"
