Na Kyung-won of the People Power Party will run for president.

On the 10th, Na Kyung-won noted that she would declare her candidacy at 2 p.m. on the 11th in front of the main hall stairs of the National Assembly. Na said, “I will run in the 21st presidential election with a desperate and earnest heart to protect the people and the country,” and added, “I will defend the Republic of Korea until the end! I will protect the people until the end! I will definitely save them.”

To date, the major candidates from the People Power Party who have declared their candidacy for president include Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of North Gyeongsang Province; Kim Moon-soo, former Minister of Employment and Labor; Han Dong-hoon, former representative; Yoo Jeong-bok, Mayor of Incheon; An Cheol-soo, member of the National Assembly; and Yoo Seung-min, former member of the National Assembly. Hong Joon-pyo, Mayor of Daegu, is scheduled to declare his candidacy on the 14th, and Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, plans to announce this week.
