In the ruling party, there are claims suggesting that one should dispute the Constitutional Court's rejection decision regarding the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk-yeol. The People Power Party criticized this on the 1st, calling it "a provocation for bloodshed."

Kwon Young-se, chairperson of the People Power Party emergency response committee, met with reporters after a "youth forum" held at the National Assembly that afternoon and pointed out comments made by Democratic Party lawmaker Park Hong-geun, suggesting a "declaration of non-acceptance if rejected," saying, "When a satisfactory outcome is not achieved, it could be interpreted as provoking a bloodshed situation" and added that even if interpreted in good faith, it resembles a threat to the Constitutional Court.

Chairperson Kwon emphasized, "Provocative remarks are extremely inappropriate" and stated, "Now is the time for accepting the Constitutional Court's ruling, whether favorable or unfavorable, and for a responsible politician to discuss restraining those who share the same position."

Jung Kwang-jae, spokesperson for the People Power Party, also stated in a commentary that afternoon, "We cannot help but ask where Democratic Party lawmaker Park's evaluation that if the result of President Yoon's impeachment trial is accepted it is justice, but if it is rejected or dismissed it is injustice, comes from," and demanded that he immediately retract his statement and apologize. Regarding the Democratic Party, he noted that they should first promise to accept the Constitutional Court's ruling before calling for President Yoon's impeachment decision, asserting that "the Democratic Party should promise acceptance of the Constitutional Court ruling even now."

Also, Party strategy planning vice-chairman Jo Jeong-hoon criticized the opposition's proposal for a "non-acceptance and resistance movement" on Facebook, stating, "This is far beyond limits. It is an act of inciting national chaos by denying the Constitution and mobilizing strong support groups. This is a clear act of inciting rebellion."

Previously, lawmaker Park stated on Facebook regarding the impeachment trial of President Yoon, "The Democratic Party and other opposition parties should officially declare that they can never accept the rejection of the impeachment of Yoon Suk-yeol," and suggested, "Let's announce a national non-acceptance and resistance movement in advance." Park raised the issue that if the Constitutional Court concludes with a rejection or dismissal under the situation where Acting President Han Duck-soo rejected the Constitutional Court's decision to appoint the candidate for Constitutional Court Justice Ma Eun-hyeok, it would result in an 'imperfect and abnormal quorum.'
