Shin Pyung, a lawyer supporting President Yoon, noted on Facebook on the afternoon of the 1st, "The book 'A New Republic of Korea' will be released soon," and added, "It will be available for pre-order no later than April 10."

Shin stated that in the political arena, along with President Yoon, People Power Party lawmakers Kim Ki-hyun, Na Kyung-won, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Jo Jeong-hun, as well as former spokesperson Baek Ji-won, participated, and from academia, constitutional scholar Lee In-ho, a professor at Chung-Ang University, and Sim Gyu-jin, a professor at IE University in Spain, joined. Shin and fellow lawyer Doh Tae-woo from the legal field, author Bok Geo-il from the cultural sector, and Jeon Han-gil, a history instructor from the education sector, collaborated to create the book.

Shin stated, "The '87 System' established 40 years ago has gradually turned into an outdated system, and the 'progressive aristocracy' has become entrenched as a vested interest, exuding the smell of corruption."

He continued, "They have failed to escape their historically mistaken stance of being pro-China and pro-North Korea, and due to prioritizing ideology over substance, they have exhibited totalitarian tendencies." He argued, "If these forces from the 87 System dominate not only the National Assembly but also seize executive power, it is clear that they will exercise strong police authority and rule over the people with a fascist political form."

Shin emphasized, "In response, President Yoon Suk-yeol resisted them, who had acquired powerful dominance over the media, culture, and labor sectors through the 12·3 state of emergency." He added, "Then the youth began to participate in massive anti-impeachment rallies, signaling an enormous transformation of the era."

He explained regarding the book, "This social change movement gradually grew into a citizens' revolution, and the values and order it seeks are exactly what President Yoon pursued with the '12·3 state of emergency'. "A New Republic of Korea" describes this great social transformation and citizens' revolution while providing historical legitimacy."

Meanwhile, a source from the ruling party stated regarding the book, "I understand that it only includes the final argument of the impeachment trial and that the president had no direct involvement in it."
