Minister Song Mi-ryeong reported assets worth more than 1.9 billion won last year. The decrease of about 70 million won from the previous year was due to a drop in the official price of apartments.
According to the changes in public officials' assets published in the official gazette by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee on the 27th, Minister Song reported a total of 1.988 billion won in assets, including those of herself, her spouse, and her eldest son. This is a decrease of 69.77 million won from the previous year's reported amount of 2.05874 billion won.
Minister Song owns a total of three apartments. The first is the Daelim Apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with a dedicated area of 81.84 square meters (worth 1.292 billion won); the second is the Hanshin Apartment in Jegi-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, with a dedicated area of 84.76 square meters (worth 510 million won); and the third is an apartment in Bitgaram-dong, Naju, Jeonnam, with a dedicated area of 84.94 square meters (worth 236 million won). The total official price of the three apartments is 2.029 billion won, which is a decrease of 21 million won from the previous amount of 2.05 billion won. The apartment located in Jegi-dong has been put up for rent at 400 million won.
Vice Minister Park Beom-su reported assets totaling 3.09036 billion won. Vice Minister Park owns the Trijium Apartment in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, together with his spouse under a joint name, with an official price of 1.843 billion won.
