A public opinion survey released on the 27th revealed that 58% believe that 'impeachment should be granted and the president should be removed' regarding the Constitutional Court's impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol, while 37% believe that 'impeachment should be dismissed and he should be reinstated in his position.'

The findings were gathered from a nationwide survey conducted by Embrain, Case Study Research, Korea Research, and Korean Research from the 24th to the 26th, involving 1,001 men and women aged 18 and older.

Compared to the previous week, the opinion that impeachment should be granted decreased by 2 percentage points, while the opinion that it should be dismissed increased by 2 percentage points.

Regarding trust in the Constitutional Court's impeachment trial process, 53% responded that they 'trust it,' while 40% said they 'do not trust it.' The responses indicating trust decreased by 7 percentage points, while those indicating distrust increased by 4 percentage points.

Regarding President Yoon's response to the impeachment trial, 35% evaluated it as 'doing well,' while 58% said 'not doing well.'

The suitability for the next president is rated as follows: Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party at 31%, Minister Kim Moon-soo of the Ministry of Employment and Labor at 8%, Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo at 6%, and Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon each at 5%.

The NBS survey was conducted through telephone interviews using virtual mobile numbers (100%), with a margin of error of ±3.1% at a 95% confidence level. The response rate was 18.0%. For more details, please refer to the website of the Central Election Survey Deliberation Committee.
