This regular asset declaration did not include former Minister Kim Yong-hyun and Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo, along with other figures related to the 12·3 martial law. According to the Public Service Ethics Act, public officials can have their asset declaration delayed or exempted if they are in a status of detention or disappearance, with former Minister Kim being among those currently detained.

According to the 2025 regular asset change report released by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee on the 28th, Vice Minister Kim and his spouse have total assets of 478.23 million won. Vice Minister Kim owns an apartment in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (550 million won, 84.79 square meters) and a vehicle valued at 14.5 million won (2016 model K9).

Deposits total 184.48 million won, with Vice Minister Kim having 157.11 million won and his spouse 27.36 million won. Previous debt has decreased from 276.47 million won to 270.74 million won after partial repayment. He declined to disclose information about his two sons, citing that they maintain independent livelihoods.

Chairman Kim Myung-soo of the Joint Chiefs of Staff reported total assets of 1.305 billion won for himself, his spouse, and their eldest daughter. Chairman Kim sold an apartment in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon (638 million won, 84.99 square meters) in his spouse's name and acquired a new apartment in Gimpo Gochon-eup (805 million won, 133.35 square meters), where he plans to reside.

Admiral Yang Yong-mo, Chief of Naval Operations, reported total assets of 773.439 million won, including deposits of 58.794 million won. This is an increase compared to the previous report, influenced by the sale of an apartment in Icheon-gu, Changwon (315 million won, 84.86 square meters). Air Force Chief of Staff Lee Young-soo reported total assets valued at 849.49 million won.

Deputy Commander of the Combined Forces Command Kang Shin-cheol holds total assets worth 2.06725 billion won, including an apartment in Seocho-gu, Seoul (1.109 billion won, 84.61 square meters). Acting Army Chief of Staff Ko Chang-jun reported total assets of 441.88 million won, including an apartment in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, co-owned with his spouse (220 million won, 84.95 square meters).

Director Seok Jong-geun of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration reported total assets of 983.81 million won, which includes an apartment in Taijeon-dong, Buk-gu, Daejeon (125 million won, 84.96 square meters) and deposits amounting to 143.98 million won. Director Kim Jong-cheol of the Military Manpower Administration reported total assets of 1.42845 billion won, including an apartment in Gangnam, Seoul, co-owned with his spouse (956.38 million won, 84.81 square meters).

Chairman Baek Seung-joo of the Korean War Memorial Foundation held an apartment in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (1.587 billion won, 102.48 square meters) with his spouse, making total assets 4.21368 billion won.
