Former President Moon Jae-in called Kim Kyung-soo, former governor of South Gyeongsang Province, who was hospitalized after staging a hunger strike to urge the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol on the 25th, to express his concern for his health.

According to Kim's side, former President Moon called Kim around 10 a.m. on that day. Moon said, "Having experienced a hunger strike myself, I know it gets really tough after ten days," adding, "I was quite worried seeing the situation where Kim's hunger strike is prolonging as the impeachment ruling against President Yoon is being delayed."

Additionally, former President Moon urged for Kim's recovery, saying, "Some guests who come to the Yangsan bookstore said they visited Kim at the Gwanghwamun protest site, and many people continued to convey news about Kim." He noted, "It seems that Kim's efforts have become well known."

When Kim expressed concern during the call, saying, "The Constitutional Court's ruling is continually delayed, and the public is suffering a lot," former President Moon also expressed his worries about the current situation.

Starting from the 9th, Kim began a hunger strike in front of Gwanghwamun in Seoul to urge the Constitutional Court to announce a ruling on the impeachment of President Yoon. On the 14th day of the hunger strike, due to a rapid deterioration in health on the 22nd, he suspended the strike and was hospitalized.
