Chairperson Kwon said at the emergency response meeting that morning, "The impeachment ruling of Prime Minister Han is scheduled for 10 a.m. in a moment. It is a flawed impeachment that has concluded arguments in just one day. The grounds for impeachment are filled with political slogans that fall short of even basic factual coherence."

He continued, "This absurd impeachment has dealt a tremendous blow to the South Korean economy and diplomacy, and the damage has directly returned to the citizens and corporations. I believe the Constitutional Court will make a proper ruling for the nation and the citizens."

Chairperson Kwon emphasized, "Upon Prime Minister Han's return, there are urgent matters that need to be addressed. Acting President Choi Sang-mok has been doing his utmost, but the vacuum in diplomacy with the U.S. and the concerns of the citizens and the business community are very significant. I hope that we can carefully handle diplomatic issues and economic issues, and our party will also do our best to actively support this."

Responding to the Democratic Party's statement about continuing their tent protest in Gwanghwamun until the ruling on President Yoon Seok-youl's impeachment, he criticized, "The party leader is truly engaging in reckless abandonment just ahead of the second trial verdict for election law violations, admitting to be the culprit of the national crisis and an anti-constitutional rebellion force."

He further stated, "The Democratic Party is pushing the entire country into an abnormal situation to fend off the judicial risk of Lee Jae-myung. They have turned the National Assembly into a shield for Lee Jae-myung, paralyzed the government, and even intimidated and bribed the judiciary, leading to chaos," asserting that this is indeed a true act of rebellion.
