Speaker Woo said through a message to the public that day, "The government should do its best in rapid wildfire extinguishment by mobilizing all available resources."

Speaker Woo remarked, "There should be no additional loss of life during the wildfire extinguishment process," and urged, "Please prioritize the safety of the extinguishing personnel and continually pay close attention."

He also noted, "Rapid and accurate information delivery is a tool to protect the lives and property of the public during disaster situations," and added, "We must prevent public anxiety and worry from increasing and prevent the spread of damage. I expect the central disaster and safety countermeasure headquarters and the media to play their roles."
