Former South Gyeongsang Province Governor Kim Kyung-soo, who is on a hunger strike urging the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol, was transported to the hospital due to deteriorating health.

On the 22nd, Kim's camp stated that he was moved to the hospital at 7:15 p.m. on strong medical advice to end the hunger strike, which lasted 14 days.

On that morning, Father Ham Se-woong, an adviser to the Catholic Priests’ Association for Justice, visited Kim's protest site and stated, "He has served as a model guide through his excellent decision." He also requested the end of the hunger strike.

On the 9th, Kim began the hunger strike, stating that impeachment is the top priority. He indicated on Facebook, "I will fight to the end with the citizens, risking everything until the impeachment is upheld."

It has been reported that Kim's blood pressure and blood sugar levels have lowered to concerning levels due to the hunger strike, and he is also experiencing dehydration.
