A poll result showing that the approval rating of the Democratic Party is ahead of the approval rating of the People Power Party outside the margin of error was announced on the 17th.
As a result of a survey conducted by Realmeter at the request of the Energy Economy Newspaper from the 12th to the 14th of this month, polling 1,510 voters aged 18 and older nationwide, the approval rating of the People Power Party was 39.0%, while that of the Democratic Party was 44.3%.
Compared to the survey conducted a week ago, the People Power Party decreased by 3.7 percentage points, while the Democratic Party increased by 3.3 percentage points. The gap between the two parties in this survey was 5.3 percentage points, outside the margin of error. The gap in approval ratings between the two parties in last week's survey was 1.7 percentage points.
In the preference survey for the next presidential election, 55.5% supported 'a change of power through the opposition,' while 40.0% backed 'the ruling party's extension of power.' The response of 'not sure' was at 4.5%. The difference between the two opinions was 15.5 percentage points.
Compared to the survey conducted a week ago, the opinion for a change of power increased by 5.1 percentage points, while the opinion for extending power decreased by 4.0 percentage points.
