Chairperson of the Board of Audit and Inspection Choi Jae-hae returned to the Board of Audit and Inspection on the 13th after the Constitutional Court's decision to dismiss the impeachment motion, and said, "I thank the judges of the Constitutional Court for their wise decision."
Chairperson Choi noted, "I believe it is more important than anything else for public officials to fulfill their duties in a chaotic political situation like the present," and stated, "After returning, I will operate the Board of Audit and Inspection to establish discipline among public officials so that the public does not feel anxious."
On that morning, the Constitutional Court held a ruling on the impeachment trial of Chairperson Choi and dismissed the impeachment motion by a unanimous decision of all judges.
