A poll result released on the 10th showed that the approval rating for the People Power Party was ahead of the Democratic Party within the margin of error.

According to a survey commissioned by the Energy Economy Newspaper conducted by Realmeter from the 5th to the 7th on 1,507 voters aged 18 and older nationwide (with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of ±2.5 percentage points), the approval rating for the People Power Party was 42.7%, while the Democratic Party's rating was 41.0%.

The approval rating for the People Power Party rose by 5.1 percentage points compared to the survey conducted a week prior. In contrast, the Democratic Party fell by 3.2 percentage points.

Last week, the Democratic Party was ahead of the People Power Party outside the margin of error (by 6.6 percentage points), but within a week, the gap between the two parties narrowed to within the margin of error at 1.7 percentage points.

In a survey on preferences for the ruling power in the next presidential election, opinions for regime change surpassed those for extending the current administration. The opinion for 'regime change by the opposition' was 50.4%, while the opinion for 'extension of the ruling party's regime' was 44.0%. The response of 'I don't know' was 5.6%.

Compared to the survey conducted a week ago, opinions for regime change fell by 4.7 percentage points, while those for extending the regime rose by 5.0 percentage points.

The difference, which was 16.1 percentage points last week, is still outside the margin of error at 6.4 percentage points, but the gap has narrowed by nearly 10 percentage points in just a week.
