Chief Secretary to the President Jeong Jin-seok and other key aides in the Presidential Office visited the Seoul detention center in anticipation of President Yoon Suk-yeol's release for two consecutive days on the 8th.

According to the Presidential Office, Chief Secretary Jeong and other aides returned to the Seoul detention center around 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on that day. Jeong and others had waited at the Seoul detention center until the early hours of that day following the court's decision to cancel President Yoon's detention the previous day.

The Presidential Office is maintaining an emergency standby system. It is reported that a meeting of senior secretaries will be held under Deputy Minister Jeong's chairmanship on the 9th to discuss future response measures.

If President Yoon is released, he is expected to meet with aides in the Presidential Office after taking a break.
