On the 27th, Yoon issued a statement saying, "At that time, I did not have any currency with Mrs. Kim or have conversations with her," and he claimed, "Considering the circumstances at the time or my personality, none of the contents match the truth."

He continued, saying, "The assertion that I had conversations with Mrs. Kim regarding the governor candidacy or nominations is nothing but absurd nonsense shared by Mr. Myung-tae-kyun to boast about his nomination-related influence with his acquaintances."
