Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, said on the 14th, “The People Power Party, which embraces and aligns with serious criminals, is a criminal party.”

On that day, at a party Supreme Council meeting, Lee noted, “I received a report that the agenda to expel President Yoon Suk-yeol from the People Power Party has been concluded.”

Lee stated, “The People Power Party not only will not expel President Yoon but seems to have a firm will to work together.” He added, “Can this be called a democratic party of a democratic republic? This is neither a conservative party nor an extreme right party. It is a criminal party.”

Meanwhile, the Central Ethics Committee of the People Power Party decided not to discuss further regarding the review of the expulsion and dismissal of President Yoon held at the ethics committee convened by former leader Han Dong-hoon at the end of last year on the 13th.

Meanwhile, Lee criticized the contents of former Intelligence Commander Noh Sang-won's notebook, stating, “(President Yoon) was trying to create a dictatorial kingdom.”

Lee said, “The five-year term of President Yoon is short, and there was a memo suggesting appointing a successor, which is insufficient even for three consecutive terms.” He added, “What is there to criticize about a country that inherits the throne? Isn’t it the same as them?”

Lee also referred to the list of '500 targets for arrest' written in the former commander's notebook, calling it “an absurd, horrifying, and brutal plan,” and asked, “Why is Coach Cha Bum-kun included? They were planning to catch and kill such unimaginable people, including entertainers and religious figures.”

According to the former commander’s notebook, the targets for arrest are categorized into grades A to D, revealing that it includes not only politicians but also entertainers and legal professionals.

The arrest target list reportedly includes former President Moon Jae-in, Lee, former lawmaker Cho Kuk, writer Yoo Si-min, Reform Party lawmaker Lee Jun-seok, as well as Judge Yoo Chang-hoon, who dismissed Lee's arrest warrant, and figures like Kim Eo-jun, Kim Je-dong, and former coach Cha Bum-kun.
