North Korea criticized U.S. President Donald Trump's so-called 'Gaza Strip plan' to relocate Palestinian residents to neighboring countries.
The Korean Central News Agency noted on the 12th in a commentary titled 'Brutal and unscrupulous robbers, this is America' that 'the sovereign rights and self-determination of the country and the nation, and territorial rent(expense) cannot be bartered or mocked by the U.S.' and pointed out that 'the world is boiling over due to the U.S. bomb declaration.'
The Korean Central News Agency further pointed out that 'the inherent nature of the U.S., which survives through slaughter and plunder, and its hegemonic and invasive ambitions for world domination are not merely proven by past history but by today's Gaza' and stressed that 'this is not an issue confined to the Gaza Strip.'
President Trump publicly unveiled the 'Gaza Strip acquisition and development plan' after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the 4th. The core idea is to relocate Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip to countries like Jordan and Egypt, after which the U.S. will rebuild and develop the Gaza Strip.
North Korea has consistently condemned Israel since the outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, claiming that the U.S. is behind it. However, the Korean Central News Agency did not mention President Trump's name in this commentary.
The Korean Central News Agency stated that 'the era of unipolarity, in which the U.S. reigned as the sole superpower by creating international rules and orders at its convenience, is already over' and added that 'the U.S. must awaken from its anachronistic delusions and immediately stop infringing upon the dignity and sovereignty of other countries and nations.'
