Park Gu-yong, the head of the Democratic Party of Korea education and training center, sparked controversy by belittling right-wing youth while mentioning the violent disturbances at the Seoul Western District Court. Park said the right-wing youth “lack thought and only have calculations” and are destroying democracy. The People Power Party criticized the distorted perception of the youth generation.

Park said he appeared in a YouTube broadcast on 8th and noted, “The self must collide for thought to occur, but (the right-wing youth) have been completely absorbed by what is correct.”

Park characterized the youth supporting conservatism in relation to the Seoul Western District Court incident as "lone wolves." A lone wolf refers to an individual who engages in violent acts supporting a specific group or ideology without receiving information from outside.

Park stated, “The biggest characteristic of lone wolves is that they want to follow someone. They like individuals with absolute power. Therefore, they can easily organize themselves. However, they lack thought and only have calculations. This cannot be corrected. Do not harbor hope.”

He added, “It is wrong to think about how to lure them into the Democratic Party,” and “We must consider how to make them a minority. We need to let them wither away by themselves and isolate them.”

The People Power Party evaluated Park's remarks as the 'superior mentality' of activism forces. Park Min-young, the Spokesperson for the People Power Party, stated in a commentary, “The delayed consciousness is the outdated superior mentality that judges the next generation by the 86-generation activist forces of the Democratic Party,” adding, “Does the anguish of the youth appear to the Democratic Party as ‘lacking thought and only having calculations’ in rebellion sympathy?”
