Head coach Jeong Yun-jin (Deoksu High School) led Korea's under-18 (U18) national baseball team, which arrived through Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 14th.

The U18 national baseball team beat Japan 2-0 in the final of the 14th Asian Youth Baseball Championship held at Taipei Dome in Taiwan on the 13th, winning for the first time in eight years and the sixth time overall.
