[Photo] Hwang Jae-gyun stands on KT Wiz Park for final time

The retirement ceremony for KT Wiz championship captain Hwang Jae-gyun was held on the 13th at Suwon KT Wiz Park.

Registered on the special retirement players entry that day, Hwang Jae-gyun came to the plate as a pinch hitter for shortstop Kwon Dong-jin with one out and no runners in the bottom of the sixth, with KT leading 5-2. It was his first appearance in 345 days since the game against the Hanwha Eagles in Suwon on Oct. 3 last year. Not only KT home fans but also Lotte's traveling fans applauded his appearance, and before stepping into the box, Hwang Jae-gyun took off his helmet and bowed toward third base and first base in return.
