The Doosan Bears of professional baseball escaped a losing skid on the strength of foreign hitter Yunior Severino's stellar performance.

Doosan beat the Kiwoom Heroes 5-0 in a home game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 10th. While Doosan snapped its recent losing streak and turned the momentum around, Kiwoom failed in its bid for a three-game winning streak.
