The Doosan Bears of professional baseball escaped a losing streak behind the stellar play of foreign hitter Juninho Severino.

Doosan cruised to a 5-0 home win over the Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 10th. While Doosan snapped its recent skid and turned the momentum around, Kiwoom failed in its bid for a three-game winning streak.
