The LG Twins of professional baseball slipped to a three-game losing streak, tripped up by the last-place Kiwoom Heroes.

Kiwoom cruised to an 8-3 win over LG on Sept. 8 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul in the 2026 KBO League. Starter Ha Young-min of Kiwoom became the winning pitcher with six scoreless innings, allowing only two hits with three walks, one hit-by-pitch, and two strikeouts. It was his sixth win of the season. Seo Geon-chang went 2-for-5 with a triple, one RBI, and one run. Park Ju-hong drew two walks, was hit by a pitch once, and scored two runs.
