KT Wiz of professional baseball shoved the Hanwha Eagles into a nine-game losing streak and reclaimed first place.

Led by manager Lee Kang-cheol, KT swept the series against Hanwha with a 13-11 home win over the Hanwha Eagles on the 3rd at Suwon KT Wiz Park in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League. With three straight wins, KT improved to 69-43-3 and climbed back to first, overtaking Samsung (70-45-3), whose seven-game winning streak was snapped.
