The KT Wiz of professional baseball pushed the Hanwha Eagles into a nine-game losing streak and reclaimed first place.

Led by manager Lee Kang-cheol, KT swept the Hanwha series with a 13-11 home win over the Hanwha Eagles in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League at Suwon KT Wiz Park on the 3rd. With their third straight win, KT improved to 69-43-3 and moved back into first place ahead of Samsung (70-45-3), whose seven-game winning streak was snapped.
