The Kiwoom Heroes of professional baseball blocked the KIA Tigers' bid for a seven-game winning streak.

Kiwoom won 3-1 against KIA in the "2026 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League" game at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome on Aug. 22. With the win, Kiwoom snapped a five-game losing streak. Returning from injury, Kiwoom starting pitcher An Woo-jin earned his third win of the season with seven scoreless innings, allowing one hit, one hit-by-pitch, and striking out six.
