Professional baseball LG Twins beat the Doosan Bears for their second straight win.

LG won 6-1 against Doosan in the 2026 KBO League game at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on May 6. Lee Jae-won, called up to the first team on the day, opened the scoring with a two-run homer and went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Song Chan-ui went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk, a hit-by-pitch, and one RBI.

Starting pitcher Im Chan-kyu recorded his second win of the season with one run allowed over six innings, six hits (one home run), no walks, and five strikeouts. Kim Yun-sik, returning after completing military service, made his first appearance in two years and pitched a scoreless inning.
