Samsung Lions pulled off a thrilling comeback.

Samsung beat the Kia Tigers 10-3 in the teams' first meeting on Apr. 7 at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field in the 2026 Korea Baseball Organization season. Trailing 1-3, Samsung erupted for five runs in the top of the eighth behind clutch hits from the heart of the order. The team added four more in the ninth to decide the game. Choi Hyeong-woo shined with an RBI double that fueled the chase and a dagger three-run homer. Kang Min-ho's two-RBI double also drew applause.
