The KT Wiz swept their opening series against the LG Twins.

KT won 6-5 in the second game of the season against LG in the 2026 KBO League at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 29th. Hur Kyoung-min hit a game-tying two-run home run, and in the top of the ninth, Kim Hyun-soo drove in the go-ahead run with a grounder in front of the left fielder. In the bottom of the ninth, Park Yeong-hyeon took the mound and protected the one-run lead to record saves on back-to-back days.
