[Photo] Baseball national team returns, advances to WBC quarterfinals for first time in 17 years

The Korea national team that competed in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) returned from Miami via Incheon International Airport on the 16th.

Korea finished the Group C round robin with 2 wins and 2 losses (2nd in the group) against Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and the Czech Republic, advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time in 17 years since 2009. However, the team ended the tournament with a 0-10, seventh-inning mercy-rule walk-off loss to the Dominican Republic in the quarterfinals.
