[Photo] Ryu Hyun-jin retires from national team after WBC

The Korea national team that competed in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) returned from Miami through Incheon International Airport on the 16th.

Korea finished the Group C round-robin with two wins and two losses (second in the group) against Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and the Czech Republic, advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time in 17 years since 2009. However, the team ended the tournament with a 0-10 walk-off mercy-rule loss in the seventh inning against the Dominican Republic in the quarterfinals.
