The Korea national team lost to Taiwan once again after an extra-innings battle.

Korea lost 5-4 in 10 innings to Taiwan in the third game of Group C in the first round of the "2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC)" at Tokyo Dome in Japan on Mar. 8. With the result, Korea fell to 1-2, while Taiwan improved to 2-2 to keep its last hope alive.
