On the 6th at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, the World Baseball Classic (WBC) group stage Group C game between Japan and Taiwan was held.

Japan started Yamamoto Yoshinobu, and Taiwan started Zeng Hao-jun.

With one out and the bases loaded in the top of the second, Japan's Ohtani Shohei hit a grand slam and exchanged greetings with Manager Ibata Hirokazu in the dugout. Mar. 6, 2026
