On Mar. 2 at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, a World Baseball Classic (WBC) official practice game between the Japan national baseball team and the Orix Buffaloes was held.

After a practice game with the Hanshin Tigers on the 3rd, the Japan national baseball team will head to Tokyo and play its first game against Taiwan on the 6th, followed by Korea on the 7th, Australia on the 8th, and the Czech Republic on the 10th.
