On the 28th, a scrimmage between the SSG Landers and the second team of Japan Professional Baseball's Rakuten Golden Eagles was held.

SSG is 0-1 in scrimmages at its spring camp in Miyazaki, Japan. On the 25th, with 1.5-team–level players taking the field against the SoftBank Hawks' second team, SSG lost 1-9.
