On the 28th, a practice game was held at Okuragahamasoho Ballpark in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, between the SSG Landers and the second team of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball.

SSG is 0-1 in practice games at its spring camp in Miyazaki, Japan. On the 25th, with 1.5-tier players taking the field against the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks' second team, SSG lost 1-9.
