On the 6th, a press conference for the 2026 WBC national team was held at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Having finalized the roster, the baseball national team will leave for training camp in Okinawa, Japan, on the 14th to begin preparations for the WBC. The team will also sharpen its game feel by playing six scrimmages against Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League teams.
