A news conference for the 2026 WBC national team was held on the 6th at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.

After finalizing the roster, the baseball national team will depart for training camp in Okinawa, Japan, on the 14th and begin preparations for the WBC. The team will play six practice games against Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League teams to sharpen its game feel.
