In the afternoon on the 3rd, the 80th national men's and women's figure skating championships were held at Mokdong Ice Rink in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.

After the first national team selection in Nov. last year, figure skating will combine those results with this event, which also serves as the final national team selection, to award tickets to the 2026 Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics next month to the top two in each of the men's and women's singles institutional sector and one ice dance team.
