The Doosan Bears avenged the previous day's loss to the NC Dinos and widened the gap with sixth-place NC back to three games.

Led by manager Kim Won-hyung, Doosan beat NC 9-2 in a home game of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Sept. 13. After suffering a close 9-10 loss to NC the day before, Doosan took the win and now Mark their season record at 64-60-4, pulling three games ahead of NC, which fell to 59-61-2.
