In particular, changes in the "New Recruits," who have risen in rank, are a viewing point: Park Min-seok becomes a corporal, Jeon Segye grows into a "real soldier," Jo Baek-ho stands at a crossroads as a company commander, and Choi Il-gu returns as a staff sergeant to continue a new military life.
