Kia beat the Samsung Lions 7-2 in the 13th meeting between the teams in the 2026 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field on the 12th. Starter James Nail delivered a strong outing with two runs over seven innings. With home runs by Kim Do-young, Park Jae-hyun, and Ha Joo-seok, they completed a come-from-behind win. Kia took a 9-4 edge. Samsung, which can't get untracked whenever it faces Kia, was stunned by a four-game losing streak.
