The Legend of Kitchen Soldier is a military cook-bang fantasy drama that depicts private Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Jihoon), who wields a chef's knife instead of a rifle and an apron instead of a cartridge belt, as he is reborn as the "legendary kitchen soldier." It is set to portray the coming-of-age story of a kitchen soldier who, as a newly assigned private, walks the "path of a chef" and captures the hearts of the unit members with taste alone.
