The Legend of Kitchen Soldier is a military cook-bang fantasy drama that depicts the process of Private Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Jihoon), who wields a chef's knife instead of a rifle and an apron instead of an ammunition belt, becoming a "legendary cook." It is set to depict the coming-of-age story of a cook who, as a newly assigned private, walks "the path of a chef" and captures the hearts of the troops with taste alone.
