On the afternoon of the 29th, the opening ceremony of the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival was held at Moak Hall of the Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do in Jeonju.

The opening ceremony of the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival is hosted by Shin Hyun-joon and Go Won-hee and proceeds in the order of red carpet, photo wall, and opening declaration, with many filmmakers, including Organizing Committee Chair Woo Beom-ki, director Byun Young-joo, Ko A Sung, and Kwon Hae-hyo, in attendance. The festival runs from Apr. 29 to May 8 around Film Street in Jeonju.
